Mission Statement
We seek to provide designers of all types with a community were they can express themselves openly, find help with their art, share their skills, and learn from each other.

We welcome all who wish to learn. Digital Designers, Graphic Designers, Web Designers, if you design, or want to learn, this is your community.

Joining
If you are interested in becoming a member, please send us a note with Join as the title, and add : icondesignersguild: to your Journal and/or :devdesignersguild: to your signature.

Contests
The 2nd contest is a blending contest. The goal is to make a blend using any and all means you think are necessary. The blend has to be 440 x 300 pixels. When you are finished please submit your blend to your own gallery, and leave a comment on the Contests Journal ([link]).

You must use these four pictures in your blend:

Contests

To enter a contest you must be a member of the Guild.

For your work to be valid, it must adhere to the guidelines set out in the contest details, and should be your own work, or, if you used someone else's work as a part (a maximum of 40% of the overall piece) of your submission, you must have permission to use it and credit must be given to the original artist.

When you have completed the work you wish to submit for a contest please submit your blend to your own gallery, and leave a comment on this Journal.

The winner of each contest will have their art submitted to the Guild's Gallery, with a link back to their account.

Designer's Guild - News

New System
Because of the insecurity involved with each member having the password to this community (and the possibility it may be a policy violation) I have come up with a new method of running this place. Similar to the way most other guilds, clubs and communities are run.

If you want to make a submission to the guild, email it deviant@phalacee.com (if its more than one file, please place it in a .zip file) along with your deviantART ID, and a description you would like to go with it. I will then make the submission for you, with a link to your account.

Inline with this change, I will be changing the Guild's password, Eternal-Dragon, I have already sent you a note with the new one.
